Pivenelsacco in concerto ad Arezzo

Venerdì 2 dicembre le Pivenelsacco han suonato ad Arezzo al circolo Aurora per la rassegna “Pifferi, muse e zampogne”organizzata da Silvio Trotta. Eravamo già stati a suonare in questa piccola ma accogliente sala nel 2007, ma allora il nostro gruppo era agli inizi e il repertorio ancora limitato. Stavolta l'invito ci ha permesso di suonare con molta più esperienza e tranquillità e il desiderio di presentare il frutto di un lavoro di tre anni che ha dato il frutto del nostro primo CD “Cento Rami”. Anche il repertorio si è allargato e il pubblico è stato davvero generoso in applausi sottolineando il proprio entusiasmo al termine di ogni brano presentato. Sono stati presentati i seguenti motivi: Spagnoletto I e II, la Giga di Corelli divisa in tre parti, la Giga Ferrarese forse il brano che più d'ogni altro trascina all'entusiasmo il pubblico, le Pastorali di Baldano, le Frulane precedute da un duetto di flauti di Fabio e Sanchez, Maremma cantata con la voce solista di Marco e Calderai, Bergamasca e Bergamasco, con l'esecuzione virtuosistica del sempre più bravo Marco Mainini e per finire le Pive. Il pubblico ha richiesto un bis e a quel punto ci siam congedati con il brano che ci contraddistingue la Giga Piacentina, eseguita camminando fra il pubblico negli spazi limitatissimi rimasti. Dopo il concerto Fabio E Gino han cominciato a preparare le crescentine. Nel frattempo Massimo Giuntini ha incantato il pubblico con il proprio gruppo. Al termine il pubblico ha gustato le prelibatezze preparate dei due abili pivari-cuochi nonché creatori del gruppo Pivenelsacco. Il giorno dopo una gentilissima signora conosciuto nel dopo concerto ci ha inviato questa splendida mail:

Che grandi atmosfere avete portato ieri sera nel piccolo spazio del Circolo AURORA! Un concerto colto e divertente dove il passato e il presente si uniscono con leggerezza. Le vostre pive sono corali e solenni , portano la memoria, ma nel vostro qui e ora del far musica si realizza la tradizione intesa come operazione culturale di scelta e di continuità verso il futuro. Soffi,soffi d’ancia METAFORE DI VITA, capaci di entrare emotivamente in chi ascolta. La vostra passione traspare come l’amore per il vostro strumento così legato all’uomo e alla natura, legno, pelle, respiro...Il vostro repertorio sostanzia un’idea che Silvio TROTTA mi ha insegnato, la musica popolare ITALIANA non è solo MEDITERRANEA ma SOPRATTUTTO APPENNINICA ATTRAVERSA L’ITALIA COME I SUOI APPENNINI SPINA DORSALE DI UN POPOLO E DELLE SUE RADICI

Friday, December 2^nd, Pivenelsacco played in Arezzo at the club for the Aurora festival “Pifferi, muse, and bagpipes” organized by Silvio Trotta. We had already been playing in this small but cozy room in 2007, but our group was just beginning and had a limited repertoire. This time the invitation has allowed us to play with much more experience and peace of mind and the desire to present the result of a work of three years that has given the results of our first CD, “One Hundred Branches.” The repertoire has expanded, and the public has been very generous in applause, emphasizing their enthusiasm at the end of each piece presented. They were presented in the following ways: Spagnoletto I and II, the Giga of Corelli divided into three parts, the Ferrarese Giga maybe more than any other song that drags the enthusiasm of the audience, the Pastoral of Baldano, the Frulane preceded by a duet of flutes and Fabio Sanchez, Maremma sung by lead singer Mark and Calderai, with the execution of increasingly skilled, virtuous, Mark Mainini and finally the bagpipes. The audience demanded an encore and at that point, we lead with the song that marks the Giga Piacentina performed walking through the very limited public spaces that remained. After the concert, Fabio and Gino started preparing the crescentine. Meanwhile, Massimo Giuntini enchanted the audience with his group. At the end, the audience enjoyed the delicacies prepared by the two skilled cooks and creators of Pivenelsacco. The next day, a very kind lady from the concert sent this wonderful email: "What a great atmosphere you brought last night in the small space of the Aurora Circle! A fun concert where the past and present are combined with lightness. Your choir and bagpipes are awesome, the bring the memories, but in your time here and making music, tradition is made and understood as the cultural operation of choice and continuity into the future. Blow, blow the reed, metaphor for life, emotionally capable of entering those who listen. Your passion transpires as the love of your instruments, so tied to man and nature, wood, leather, breathing…your repertoire sustains an idea that Silvio Trotta taught me, folk music is not only Mediterranean, but above all, Appenines through Italy as its Appenine spine of a people and its roots, thank you all.
