Marcello e Fabio a Pavullo nel Frignano

A Pavullo nel Frignano venerdì 24 dicembre le pive emiliane suonate da Marcello Tioli e Fabio Bonvicini hanno portato l’atmosfera natalizia nel corso dell’iniziativa “Natale in centro” durante la quale si son esibiti anche vari artisti di strada(giocolieri, mangiafuoco) e han sfilato carri natalizi. I nostri amici pivari han riscosso un lusinghiero successo augurando a tutti un Natale di serenità e gioia con le loro belle melodie.

In Pavullo nel Frignano on Friday the 24^th of December, the pive emiliane, played by Marcello Tioli and Fabio Bonvicini, brought the Christmas atmosphere during the event “Natale in centro”. Many street artists also participated in this event, as well as Christmas floats. Our friends were able successfully wish all the people present a Christmas full of joy and happiness thanks to their beautiful melodies.

Tiolix e Fron molto apprezzati a Casalgrande

Giovedì 23 dicembre i nostri amici Tiolix e il Fron hanno suonato a Casalgrande (RE) dove hanno eseguito brani natalizi e gli altri motivi del repertorio tradizionale emiliano, per i commerciati lungo le vie del centro. La pioggia incessante li ha accompagnati per tutto il tempo della loro bella esibizione ma l’assenza di freddo ha reso il loro impegno non troppo faticoso. Al termine della loro esibizione hanno ricevuto i complimenti degli organizzatori dell’evento molto soddisfatti della qualità musicale della loro esibizione.

Thursday the 23^rd of December our friends Tiolix and Fron played in Casalgrande (RE) , where they performed Christmas carols and songs and other famous traditional local pieces for the audience of shoppers and store owners located in the central street of the town. The constant rain accompanied them during the entire performance, but considering cold was not an issue they were able to play without difficulty. At the end of their exhibiiton they received many compliments from the organizators of the event, who were very satisfied with the outcome.

La Piva in orchestra

Alla Pieve di Nonantola si è svolto il concerto di Natale con vari cori e la partecipazione dell’orchestra “la Rumorosa” di Nonantola e il coro degli anziani della Clessidra. Per la prima volta la Piva Emiliana suonata da Gino è entrata nell’organico orchestrale durante l’esecuzione di un brano e il risultato è stato decisamente buono. La Piva, che ha un suono stentoreo e molto potente, si è ben amalgamata con gli altri strumenti e le ampie arcate della chiesa han ammorbidito la sonorità dello strumento che dal punto di vista del volume non ha prevaricato gli strumenti vicini.

Pieve di Nonantola was the location chosen for the Christmas concert and choruses with the participation of the “Rumorosa Orchestra” and the chourus Clessidra, composed by senior citizens. For the first time the Emilian Piva played by Gino, joined the Arias during a track and the result was very good. The Piva, which has a distinct sound heightened and very powerful, mixed perfectly with other instruments , while the large arches of the Church helped produced a soft sound in terms of volume which was not prevaricated at all by the other instruments.

La Ligèra e Ferdi a Medicina

Domenica 12 dicembre a Medicina (BO) la Ligéra e Ferdi han suonato le loro pive invitati dagli efficienti e simpatici volontari della ProLoco. I cittadini, i commercianti, i ragazzi, gli ospiti della Casa Protetta e il pubblico che affollava il " Mercato del Cioccolato" nella piazza centrale della città, hanno apprzzato la loro musica, si sono stupiti di riascoltare gli antichi suoni e di rivedere i tabarri (capparelle).

Sunday 12^th of December in Medicina (BO) .

Ligéra and Ferdi, who were invited by friendly volunteers of the local city Proloco, played their pive in a performance. Citizens, merchants, kids, safe house guests and the public of the "Market of chocolate" in the central square of the city, greatly appreciated their music and were amazed to hear the ancient sounds and actually see the tabarri (capparelle).

La Bandabardana a Vetto

La Piva Emiliana è stata protagonista anche a Vetto con la Bandabardana il 18 dicembre nel corso della “Notte Bianca”. I nostri bravi e coraggiosi pivari Alessandro e Fabio han sfidato il freddo di -7 gradi, suonando per ben 5 ore. Nelle foto da sinistra il mèster Claudio, Fabio all’organetto, Gianna al contrabbasso e Alessandro con piva e ocarina.

Tuesday the 21^st of December.

Bandabardana in Vetto. The Piva Emiliana was also teh main attarction in Vetto with Bandabardana on the 18^th of December during the "white night". Our talented pìvari Alessandro and Fabio braved the cold at -7 degrees, playing for five hours. In the photos on left you can see Claudio, Fabio on the small organ, Gianna on bass and Alessandro on the piva and the ocarina .

Mercatini di Natale a Formigine

Marcello e Fabrizio sono stati impegnati per varie domeniche durante i mercatini natalizi di Formigine. Il loro entusiasmo è stato ricompensato anche con i tanti applausi che si son meritati ogniqualvolta han intonato i più celebri motivi natalizi. Nelle foto il programma delle manifestazioni, Fabrizio detto Fronn e Marcello detto Tiolix.

Local street Christmas markets in Formigine

Marcello and Fabrizio were committed to various Sundays during the Christmas markets of Formigine. Their enthusiasm was rewarded with much well-deserved applause whenever they sang the most celebrated Christmas motifs. In the photos you can see the program of the events, Fabrizio called also Fron and Marcello called Tiolix.
