67th Anniversary Bingo Operation…Day of the Bagpipe
It took place at Alibinea, a touching event dedicated to the memory of those killed in the attack in Villa Rossi
and Villa Calvi, in the presence of the Euro member Debora Serracchiani, mayor of Albinea, and with a final
salute to veterans of “Operation Bingo,” Livio “Delinger” Piccinini’s 26th Garibaldi Brigade, who spoke on behalf of all other partisan veterans present at the ceremony. There were readings of texts and poems on the theme of war and resistance by pupils of the Albinea School and performing music and songs related to the concept of freedom.
